hello dava! i am an artist and i discovered your blog when i was doing research for my new painting project...the amaryllis project...ironic huh? beautiful blooms on your new bulb, hopefully you will see some life in your older bulbs, fingers crossed for you.
i wanted to let you know that i have linked to your blog in my new post introducing my project.
An amaryllis is living proof that some plants grow beautiful blooms even when raised by someone who has great difficulty raising flowers. (Namely me.) :-)
All four blossoms are now open, a beautiful coral-red with a green-white stripe on the outside of the petals.
Still no signs of life from the 2007 and 2008 bulbs.
